One of the biggest questions we are asked is, "Can I really change? or Can he [she] really change?" The answer is a resounding "YES!" We know this for a fact because the Bible says it is possible. Susan and I have both changed through applying God's Word to the rotten sinful patterns in our lives. I (Dean) was a very hurt, angry man, fairly spoiled as a child, full of myself. Susan was hurt also, not so spoiled but selfish never the less. She was full of fear and worry about almost everything. Things got bad enough that dishes were flying and I replaced more windows in our house than I could afford to. So we sought out help and God answered. We had a decent "Christian Counselor" that threw some psychology at us and truthfully taught us some useful tools but didn't get to the root of the issues. Then we paid $80 an hour to have a guy ask us, "And Dean, how do you feel about that?" Finally we counseled with a good man, our Pastor, that knew the Word of God and had learned through the Biblical Counseling Foundation how to apply it to our lives. Real Change began to happen. We began to see how things worked inside us and how it could really change... and it did. That was over 15 years ago. Today Susan and I have a wonderful marriage and God had His way with us. We became counselors for a small Calvary chapel, continuing to mature and grow. We stayed there for over 20 years until the Lord led us to begin The Love Never Fails Foundation. Romans 8:28-29 says, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called [invited] according to [His] purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren." This powerful verse is here to give us great hope. It's not that everything that happens to us is good. But everything that happens to us can be and is turned to good. It's God's promise, do you believe it? If you have any questions,
