Prayer Request or Praise Report
John 6:37
"All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away."

Jesus never said "no" to anyone who asked Him to heal them.  He never pushed anyone away that really wanted His help.  Many times he said "Your faith has made you well"  Look at these 2 examples of Jesus love and compassion for us:

Matthew 9:18-23
18 As Jesus was saying this, the leader of a synagogue came and knelt before him. “My daughter has just died,” he said, “but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her.” (Notice the confidence this leader had in Jesus)

19 So Jesus and his disciples got up and went with him. 20 Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe, 21 for she thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” (Notice the confidence she had in Jesus)

22 Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment. (Notice He reponded to their faith. They didn't muster it up themselves or use some "name it & claim it vodoo, HE responded to their faith, HE did it.)

23 When Jesus arrived at the official’s home, he saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music. 24 “Get out!” he told them. “The girl isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.” But the crowd laughed at him. 25 After the crowd was put outside, however, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she stood up! 26 The report of this miracle swept through the entire countryside. (Notice Jesus removed all the scoffers, all the unbelief BEFORE he raised her.)

On the other side of the coin Jesus went to His home town and found this:

Mark 6:1-5
1 Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples. 2 When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed.

“Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing? 3 Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.

4 Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.” 5 He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. 6 He was amazed at their lack of faith.

I can just see Jesus thinking, What's wrong? Don't they know I am real and they can be really blessed here? So what I am trying to say here is this.  When you pray, and when you ask us to pray for you, believe in the best answer you could get.  Have faith and trust God.  If you're finding it hard to believe tell Him that and ask Him to help your faith.  Believe because He really, really cares for you.  Forget about all the nah sayers & past experiences that want to tell you it can't be done.   Look at what Greg says:

Don't build up the past in your mind. Remember it for what it was. Don't allow the enemy to pull you down by fantasizing about it. Protect your mind, and don't look back.

For those of you may think you've blown it too bad and lost your salvation, the idea that one can lose their salvation by sinning, implies that they had something to do with it in the first place. Salvation is not gained by not sinning and therefore it cannot be lost by sinning. It is not the work of man. It is the work of God.

Salvation is a gift that is received by faith. That faith is also a gift. So, not only did God save you; he also gave you the faith in order to be saved. His gifts are irrevocable. That means he will never take them back!  Its really simple to come back to Jesus, confess any sin you haven't told Him about.  He knows about it anyway.  Talk to Him, He's right there with you, ready to listen and ready to forgive.

Here is one of my favorite books on prayer.  Andrew has the gift of healing and actually raised his son from the dead after he was dead for 5 hours.  His life speaks volumes on the grace & love of God.
